TU-SI-LOG: This dish consists of TUyo (Dried Salted Fish), SIngangag (Garlic Rice) and ItLOG (Egg).
I was trying to ransack our refrigerator and pantry last Sunday for leftover ingredients that we can use for brunch since we have not done our grocery for the coming week. Fortunately, I found out that we still have so Tuyo (Dried Salted Fish) from when I came back here last January. I also brought back some Salted Eggs this February. I fried the rice with some garlic and we had an amazing Filipino breakfast! To make it more authentic, Ayn and I used our hands to eat. I even made some Tang Orange Juice!
We each had 3 pieces of fish and an egg. It was really good!
You might notice that the rice is a bit soggy. The reason is because I used freshly cooked rice when the usual practice was to use day-old rice.
Definitely a breakfast to remember!
