Some Roti from Kopi Tiam! This costs S$0.80 per piece with free curry. Yumm!
Atsi ordered this Century Egg Congee for S$2.50-3.00. The congee in Singapore is definitely the best. It is thick and very tasty! I think they put some kind of oil into it. The spring onions they use really make a difference too!
I ate with Atsi at the Food Junction in Bugis Junction. Haha. I know it's redundant but those are really their names! This whole thing is about S$6.00. I absolutely loved this Chicken with Cashew dish. It was a bit spicy but manageable. I recommend this to people who like to eat chicken.
I ordered it again at Lau Pa Sat but I was extremely disappointed that the stall there did not cook it the same as the one in Food Junction. It's not like I ordered them from the same establishment but I thought the recipe was the same. Hehe. The sauce was a bit bitter and lacked flavor.
Lechon Manok (Roasted Chicken) from Mang Kiko's at Lau Pa Sat. Rej ordered this, I think. It looked good!
Liempo (Pork) also from Mang Kiko. I have actually tasted this before when I had dinner with Ayn and my HS friends, Mae Anne and Raff. It tastes okay. I like the Liempo from Manang's better.
Braised Beef with Rice from Thai Smiles in Boat Quay. My officemates and I usually have lunch here because they are quite famous. They have a lunch special that includes a dessert all for S$4.50. This particular dish, however, failed to impress me. It tastes like the normal Braised Beef with less flavor.
