This restaurant has always been a family favorite! We never leave Subic without eating here because their food is undeniably wonderful. My only comment is that they have removed 'Pandan Chicken' from their menu! Boo. Nonetheless, I'm sure you will still find their food selection delicious!
Pineapple Fried Rice. My absolute top choice! I really love Pineapple Fried Rice. When Nina and I went to BKK after graduation, this was a staple order. I find that their version is even better than those I've eaten in BKK. It's really good and they serve it in a Pineapple!
Laing. I'm not much of a fan of this dish but it tastes good.
Assorted Grilled Seafood. Of the variety, I liked the squid the best. It was perfectly grilled and went best with the sauce.
Sinigang na Tiyan ng Bangus (Milkfish Belly in Sour Soup). I prefer this soup with Pork but mom wanted the Bangus Belly so we ordered it instead. It was good! The soup had just the right amount of sourness.
Tempura. This was a little out of place because we ordered mostly Filipino but I was craving for some Tempura!
Lechong Kawali (Deep Fried Pork). The meat was a bit tough but I like the saltiness of the skin.
Chicken Sisig. A MUST TRY! We had 3 orders of this. Haha. It was fantastic!
After lunch, we went to Royal for some Duty Free shopping. There was nothing much to buy inside. I remembered that there's a Mini Donuts booth outside and I always always make it a point to buy a dozen of Cinnamon Sugar Mini Donuts.
I like how I get it hot straight from the fryer. Heaven!
Ahhhh.... Delicious! Enjoy!
