I HATE MONDAYS.
Two days for weekends are really now enough. My brain is still tired! Okay, so sleeping late last Friday and Saturday didn’t help; but still, I hope they make Mondays a part of the weekend. Hehe.
I can’t believe it’s the last week of January. Birthdays are coming up, so it mean it’s.. SHOPPING TIME!! Good thing it IS the end of the month and pay checks are on the way. I’ve been wanting to go to Bugis Street for quite some time now to buy new clothes but I’ve been stopping myself because I promised my bank account I’d save some money for Cam’s debut. I’ll probably just wait for atsi to arrive and then we’ll just go together.

Speaking of atsi, we’re thinking of watching a play here when she arrives. Alliance Francaise Theatre is showing, L'Avare (The Miser) by Moliere. It costs around S$30 –
quite reasonable. It’s only from 3 to 6 February so we hope to catch it on Friday night. The play will be in French but with English subtitles. I’ve researched a bit about it. It’s a comedy based on a stingy old man whose children are trying to escape his miserly ways. I hope it’s a good one!
We finished our grocery shopping for the week yesterday and we reached S$40!! I guess the strawberry gelato I bought somehow escalated the cost. Haha. It’s really delicious though. I’ve been craving for something sweet that isn’t chocolate so this should fix that. We also cooked our lunch for today and marinated some chicken legs with BBQ sauce, my mommy’s recipe! Yum! I’m thinking of cooking that tonight. Hope I get home early today. Oh, and it’s Monday Night Laughs at Starworld today. Another reason to go home early…. Whatta life! Or rather, whatta NO life! Haha.
Over the weekend, we had a BBQ party at home. The girls cleaned the house and the guys cooked the food. Afterwards, we all watched 2012 using Kuya Danny’s projector. It was fun! At least we did something new. It made me miss my family’s holiday BBQ. We always go to Tagaytay in December. We rent a house for a couple of days and spend them relaxing and grilling. I love my mom’s BBQ. It’s really tasty! Hope she makes some for me when I get home. :)
Anyway, I’ve submitted my revised programme to my boss already. Hope he gives it the final approval so we can send it to the printers today. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
